Our computers have the print driver & software installed.
You are welcome to install it on your own computer. We recommend printing from the “HP Click” utility for simplicity. See the SOP for more details.
Printing is priced to cover the costs of paper, ink, and support the shop.
This printer is not intended to be used for ‘production printing’. Example scenarios that feel like a good fit for our shop:
A member has an event coming up and needs (3) full color posters promoting their products
A member needs a large template printed out for their band saw/jigsaw job
A member needs to print a large template for their fabric work
An employee is setting up for a class and needs templates for their layout to speed up setup
If you need to print 20+ posters, require a ‘full bleed’ 24” x 36” print, or have tight tolerances, we recommend visiting a local print shop like Dollar Bill Printing, Kolossos, or FedEx Kinkos. For comparison, printing a 24” x 36” poster as of this writing (11/11/2022) at Kinkos is $35.
